NY6 bowl selection is decided by CFP ranking. We are unlikely to pass ole miss in those rankings whether we beat them or not. So they would likely go to the sugar bowl ahead of us. When it happens our fans will cry about screw jobs but just remember you heard it here first. CFP ranking is the determining metric.

If State wins it would be tough to get a high enough ranking for the Sugar Bowl with 4 losses. That would also assume Bama beats Georgia and makes the playoff
