If they told the truth then Arkansas fans wouldn't donate and so it is better to tell a lie and get the cash flowing.

Yes, we can compete... if we are willing. Being a top 12-15 team in recruiting is achievable for sure. With a few whale donors, and then the smaller normal citizen donors...
Get within the top 12 playoff a couple of times, it would get easier.
