Man, this is just a terrible situation all the way around.

I haven't seen anything at all mentioned about the victim, other than in the official statement, i.e., a "deceased victim inside the Toyota."

I can't imagine what that family is going through.

Correct, it’s easier to walk a DUI back then seek a charge later.

Fact is we don’t know if he was over the limit, under, totally shitface, high, whatever. It will all come out in the blood.

However, like most of these dudes he probably speed dialed his lawyer, got quick advice and prolonged that blood draw as long as possible.
