Not sure what will happen here but some years back an NFL player got off real easy with mostly probation in some joke deal the victim's family and Judge signed off on because the family wanted a real big payout instead of him doing the time in prison and it wasn't going to happen without him being able to still play.

In the Nevada legal verbiage that KaiserSoze99 posted on Page 3, it partly stated:

A prosecuting attorney shall not dismiss a charge ... in exchange for a plea of guilty. A sentence imposed ... may not be suspended nor may probation be granted.

I take this to mean that the penalties are mandatory, regardless of what he pleads.

I remember that but can't recall the guys name. I think he played college ball at Tennessee.
