I'm not asking for the Hitler youth to come in sky screaming that if you ain't cheatin you aint tryin!, and all the other excuses people who cheat give

It happens at both private schools and public schools, so this is no attack on either or

I label the coaches as extreme narcissists, and they were all bred back in Little League baseball watching their dads cheat in the old ways of stacking certain teams

Some of them are literally able to lie to themselves about how their illegal recruiting is somehow not illegal recruiting

I know a ton of great high school coaches who are great men and who have never cheated - love those guys. This thread goes out to those guys.

Let the downvotes from the sky screaming pussy cheater supporters begin

Being a Catholic-BR grad, I know nothing of such subject matter, and will refer to Hoover grads of the Rush Probst experience, and/orJohn Curtis grads.

Hmmm. How do you classify coaches who become legendary due to their cheating?

Can’t speak for other states, but I can tell you that the vast majority of top high school programs in Louisiana have broken the rules for years. The top ones held kids back a year so they would have an age advantage. Almost all, if not all, partake in illegal recruiting or athletic scholarships.

I mean, just speculating obviously, but I would venture to guess that this is true for top high school programs in nearly every state, or at least in the ultra-competitive ones.

I’m sure some are way more egregious than others though.

So, if you are too pure to look upon it, why bother? Otherwise, you might as well be asking who's cheating with PEDs. Get over it and yourself.

correct

I'd guess there are 3 to 6 huge offenders in each state

probably a bunch more than that in Texas, Georgia, Florida, California

cyde, I read an article last night listing the 40 winningest high school coaches of all time

I wonder if all 40 of them are cheaters? I don't know, I'm just wondering.

I do know one of that 40 personally, and he's been a cheating arse mofo forever
