while AU students train in better equipment

There’s not a single student on Auburn’s campus that trained in better equipment than I did. That’s mostly due to my flight school’s location and the need for new engines due to high density altitude, but it’s still a fact, and is largely irrelevant.

Don't be jealous, airlines like Air France hired their pilots with less time:

I know you’re an old timer and spent your career in the rotor world, but that’s not an excuse to be uninformed about current regs - especially if you’re going to pretend to look down your nose at others. FAA certification has a unique set of requirements, mostly due to the Colgan 3407 crash in 2009.

Anyway, back on topic.

I guess those 6 month quickie courses produce quality pilots. I apologize for myself and all the other old timer who just think they produce a number with a certificate if the student can write a check.

I was a dual rated military pilot and like I said earlier have my CFI, CFII and MEI. The FAA has some unique set of requirement due to supply and demand. As long as the Military was producing pilots, the Airlines didn't have to turn to those quickie course graduates. Now they are having to adjust and are selecting schools that can produce quality pilots with less time to allow waivers to the requirements.

Anyway it is over for AU as of last years self imposed penalty.

IP's a pro at deflection & he'll hook other posters to engage in meaningless dialog totally unrelated to the thread topic.
