So the 1 event Rowdy actually won a medal in... the world record holder in 1980 was an Alabama swimmer, from South Africa. Rowdy wasn't beating Jonty Skinner. Mid 1981 Rowdy did break the 100 free record, but he was not faster during 1980. Which brings me to my next point, a year after the Olympics breaking a world record... and he's on a comeback 3 years later? Not reflective of reality. Feel free to continue arguing with someone who swam in college though. I'm sure you know more about my sport than i do
