There’s no excuse to not have a respectable program at Miami. Way too much talent in the state and you play in a crap conference. However the university admin settles for shite and hires people like Diaz

There is, actually. They are a private institution and they've had administrative leadership over the last 10 years or so that has been de-emphasizing athletics in favor of making it a "respected" academic institution.
