Probably explains why the SEC can't break through and win the National Championship, too. I was wondering what our problem was. You have certainly earned your keep around here with this insightful thread.

On a dumb-serious note:


One of my ill-advised football guy takes is that players who train/play the majority of their games on real grass gain the most speed/benefit from special games played on fieldturf.

SEC Speed is bred on that real grass September-November, and then we unleash that speed once we hit the turf in the BCS/CFP.
