re: Tell me the reason for all this Ole Miss hype

Media and fans alike create hype anywhere they can find hype, because of one obnoxious compulsion most of us just cannot resist:

We want to claim to know something before we possibly can.

We don't know yet whether Ole Miss can win this game, and even after we find that out, we won't really know what the implications are going forward for Bama or OM. But we'll fire up the next round of hype anyway. Rinse, repeat until enough data floats in to see what the hell is actually going on.
