I wouldn't call Florida a dark horse in the east. They have quite a few national media pundits that picked them to beat UGA. I would think Mizzou and Kentucky would be dark horses....with SCAR and UT being long shot dark horses. I guess it's all about how you define dark horse.

Yeah, there are dark horses, and then there are long shots. I don't think there are any dark horses in the East. Just two contenders--Georgia and Florida. Anyone else is a long shot.
In the West, Alabama has been a contender after Saban's first year. My dark horse is Ole Miss. All the West teams have sick schedules, but I think Kiffin and Corral have the best shot of getting through it with maybe one loss. Next two weeks in the West will sort things out quite a bit.
