TL;DR: Imagine if Bama would have played with the intensity that UF played with, and did it for the entire 60 minutes. As shown and proven before even the second quarter; the score of that game would have been completely out of hand.

Florida beat their arse for 3 quarters. It was not a fluke. Hopefully they'll get another crack at them in December and we'll see if we can finish the job.

But that is my whole entire point, and why Bama getting the W actually shows more for them being an elite team vs Florida being a good team… UF fans can take their moral victory over Bama all they want and I won’t/don’t knock them; but in reality the truth is; and you even just admitted it yourself… that you guys “beat their asses” for 3 quarters; but still went home with the L. Meanwhile Bama played 1 qtr and that was enough to get the dub; despite “losing” the 3 other quarters.

Alabama had 3 possessions in the second half.

They ended in a TD, a FG on a drive that reached the UF 1, and run out the clock to end the game.

If that's what you want to call an arse beating, OK.

Fact was, Alabama dominated the first quarter on both sides of the ball, Florida dominated the second quarter on both sides of the ball, and neither defense could stop the other team in the second half.
