People can hate on murphy all they want and he needs to adjust... But ill ask again what coach could come here and elevate this program any higher? Gasso benefits from a weak conference so we ll find out about her once they have to play 24 games in this conference. Arkansas coach is great to look at as eye candy and has back to back good seasons but she could be a flash in pan , much like auburn was a few years ago.

how do we know who could come in and do a good job.

player development is a major problem which is obvious to most and Sides and Wallace are excelling at their respective schools. Wallace will end up being the only former or current Bama player to go to OKC this year. Both would have made huge differences on Bama's team if they had performed for us like they did at UF and Ark.

If I was Bryne I would make someone tell us no but I dont think he goes behind the scenes to look for a HC until they leave or get fired. Moore made NS tell him no and look how it turned out.

I would look for a long time asst coach at a major program like UCLA, or OK and go that route if the big fish tell you no

That’s no excuse for moving on. We know what Murphy is. We’ve seen small ball and riding a stud pitcher enough.

Go get an up and coming assistant from UCLA, OU, FSU or the Kentucky coach, or the Northwestern Coach.
