Oh we sucked and I did suffer through that game. We literally couldn't cover anyone and White threw 5 TD's in the 1st half including with 38 seconds in the half up 42-0 to make it 49-0 at half. OU came out early 3rd and rolled up a few more TD's and then took their foot off the gas. Our team was unprepared and had clearly quit. Stoops wanted revenge for losing the year before and to embarrass an A&M team that lost everyone and he did, props.

It was also 18 years and 4 coaches ago but you guys act like it was the greatest win in program history, I would bet you mention that game 50x more than any of your NC's on this site. It's pathetic too considering how Johnny Football mushroom stamped you the last time we played.

What is far more relevant though is where the programs are now and where they are headed. You guys have Rattler out there talking about how tough Tulane was and then you try to act like you should be a Top 5 Program.

Thanks for the response. Hopefully you can clarify when OU was throwing deep and running it up.

Are you saying OU ran up the score in the first half by throwing while up 42-0 to make the halftime score 49-0?

Are you saying OU ran it up in the second half before "taking their foot off the gas"?

Because I think we covered this already. I mean, how could OU run it up in the second half on 3 passes and 35 runs, with the last pass coming with 10:50 to play in the 3rd Q?

If you did suffer through that game, surely you'd admit OU was actively trying not to score in the 4th Q, as the final TD was a defensive TD in the 3rd Q.

How would you compare it to A&M beating Baylor 73-10 a month earlier when A&M scored 14 in the 4th Q? Care to address whether passers were thrown by A&M late in that game?
