Oh boy. Here we go again.

I’ll bite. How is the Corps at A&M any different than the Citadel or VMI, or (for that matter) the first two years at an actual service academy?

ETA: I actually know the differences for the academies, but I’ll bet most don’t.

The best comparison, in terms of uniformed student body vs total student body, is Virginia Tech (VPI).

One of my NCOs my last year in the Army has a son who is a current freshman cadet at VPI. He called me to ask what he could expect. I gave my best guess then referred him to a former boss who graduated and commissioned from there.
