It was suggested to start a season thread to drum up some traffic for the forum.
Well.....whatcha y'all think about the up and coming season?
I'll wholeheartedly admit that I'm down trodden.
I think it will be a 4-8 year and I hope for 6-6 or 7-5.

Milton was horrible. Not a good sign that he is Heupel's guy. Pretty easy looking schedule, though. It would be pathetic if we couldn't even make a bowl game with it.

I guess we will continue to suck. Hooker seems like a horrible option and I guess Bailey has done something to piss every coach off to not let him play. Milton falls down easier than a white man aka Bailey

Well it turned out that most of the key players on offense didn't play or got knocked out of play. Pitt played our B team and the B team would've taken them to OT if that spot had been reviewed (which it should've been). Seriously, that crew was beyond terrible.

How about that offense?
Vols scored 45 points in the first half. Should've been 49 if Payton catches that td before halftime.. hit him right in the hands. Scored a td on every drive before that. I know it's Mizzou's defense, but that's a ton of points no matter what team you're playing.
Have we ever done that before? I still feel like they have areas to improve as well. Speedy receivers who can catch and depth on the OL will improve consistency against better teams.
This staff should be able to recruit elite RBs for this system. They all get playing time with how many plays we run. Hooker has another year of eligibility, with all the receivers coming back minus Jones and maybe Payton.
Heuple and co. should hit the portal hard for DBs and OL/DL depth, maybe a QB if Bailey xfers. Need LBs as well.
This offense will lead to big wins. I truly believe it. Let's hope Garner brings in the big time DL and the offense keeps rolling.

Not for sure yet, but regardless it pisses me off Brice would create a possible distraction in the 48 hours leading up to the game. Have heard Heupel talk about how important it is for the team to limit distractions and focus. Brice is a tool.

I’ll be honest, if the Vols pull out a miraculous upset tonight, I’ll have to go buy cigars. I was 16 last time we beat those gumps so I’ve never got to enjoy that celebration.
