OT - Bank of America Stadium parking in Charlotte question

I'm taking my kids (no pics, they are 10 and 12) to their first football game this year. My son is a huge Jets fan and I told him as soon as they played near enough we would go. The game is 9/13. I have been trying to research parking and it seems all over the place. It's just me and I'd rather not walk around the city with two young kids. Anyone have any experience with parking there? Is is advisable to reserve spots (pricey at $40) near the stadium? Thanks for any help in advance. And before anyone says anything, I couldn't get tickets to the UGA game and it's their mom's weekend to have them.

I ended up reserving a spot for $40 for the Clemson game on spothero.com. Sounded reasonable for being two blocks from the stadium.

Edit: Used that and got a $40 one two blocks away. I'd rather not walk around a city with two young kids.
