When the playoff inevitable expands to 12 teams they will be smart to remain independent as they are a shoe in every single year under that format (with even potentially 1 loss- which has kept them out previously).

Give ND an ultimatum, they will have to take the deal. Once you do that, sit back and count your money, and get beat by an SEC team in the playoffs. Oh an get a new mascot suit for heavens sake, that’s embarrassing
