QUINCY RHODES, EDGE - ARKANSAS COMMIT

quote:

While the desired verified data is not yet available on Arkansas commit Quincy Rhodes Jr., we believe enough context to his game and his potential exists to start him as a four-star 90 on 247Sports. Why? At 6-foot-5, 247 pounds, Rhodes owns an excellent frame and he wears his weight in a manner that makes you think he's closer to 220 than 250, which suggests immense growth potential. Nevertheless, Rhodes' functional athleticism shines in a two-point stance, and while he plays off-ball linebacker for North Little Rock (Ark.), a jumbo edge role could be in the cards in the long run. Rhodes also plays tight end and shows promising movement ability and skill at that spot, while his participation in the shot put should see him exceed the 40-foot mark this spring (38-9 in Spring 2021) and provides another layer of athletic context.

ISIAH KENDALL, WR

quote:

The long-term potential is high for Isiah Kendall, an emerging wideout from Newport (Ark.) High School. A tall-framed receiver who can overwhelm smaller high school defensive backs, Kendall's long-striding gait results in a straight-line speed builder in the vertical passing game. Kendall posted an encouraging 100-meter time of 11.08 seconds in Spring 2021, and if he eclipses the coveted 11-second threshold this spring, watch out. Kendall is a three-sport athlete who also plays basketball, which serves him well in contested situations. He debuts as a high three-star 88 on 247Sports and possesses ample upside in the long run.

JOEY SU'A, IOL- ARKANSAS COMMIT

quote:

Joey Su'a, Arkansas' big-bodied offensive line pledge from Bentonville (Ark.) High School, made a noticeable jump on tape in his junior campaign. In the 6-foot-4, 320-pound neighborhood, Su'a showed marked improvement in his suddenness off the ball and lateral mobility. He displays encouraging ability to climb to the second level in the run game with some heavy-handedness upon arrival. He also plays with some nasty that manifests in his block-finishing ability when engaged in a 1-on-1 fight. Su'a, who rises from a low three-star 81 to a strong three-star 86 on 247Sports, played left tackle in 2021, but projects best as an interior O-lineman, the type who can become a tone-setting guard.
