Arkansas landed one of the JUCO ranks' most heavily-recruited targets on Saturday when Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Amaury Wiggins committed to the Razorbacks.

Wiggins, who was offered by the Razorbacks on May 9, made an off-the-radar official visit with Sam Pittman and the Hogs earlier in the week and gave the staff a verbal pledge on Tuesday. The Pensacola (Fla.) native chose Arkansas over LSU, Texas A&M, Miami, Mississippi State, Penn State, Illinois and others.

He made official visits at Miami (May 5) and Illinois (May 12) prior to arriving in Fayetteville on Monday (May 15), and named a final five of Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M, Penn State and Illinois at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Wiggins, 6-3, 310, is a May graduate of Coffeyville C.C. and will be joining the Razorbacks later this month. He will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Hogs and is expected to compete at center and guard.

Wiggins will become the 15th scholarship offensive lineman on the Razorbacks' 2023 roster. Arkansas signed three high school offensive linemen in the Class of 2023, including Joey Su'a of Bentonville (Ark.), Paris Patterson of East St. Louis (Ill.), and Luke Brown of Paris (Tenn.) Henry County.

Arkansas gained another piece to the puzzle ahead of the 2023 season on Saturday as head coach Sam Pittman and the coaching staff landed a commitment from highly-recruited JUCO offensive line transfer Amaury Wiggins.

Wiggins posted his top five of Arkansas, Penn State, Illinois, Miami and Texas A&M on Wednesday morning and pulled the trigger on Arkansas on Saturday morning.

Wiggins spent his 2022 season with Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas, and he visited Arkansas on Monday. He also received interest programs including LSU, Mississippi State and others.

At 6-foot-3, 310 pounds, Wiggins played center for JUCO powerhouse Coffeyville. He was offered by Pittman's staff on May 9 and it made sense as they were likely looking for depth at the center position behind starter Beaux Limmer.

Wiggins, who is originally from Pensacola, Florida, appeared in four games during the 2022 season and his Hudl tape shows that he can also play guard. He reportedly visited Miami and Illinois as well, but Pittman and offensive line coach Cody Kennedy were able to seal the deal once they got Wiggins to Fayetteville.

Arkansas has added just one other transfer offensive lineman since the end of the 2022 as former Florida offensive lineman Joshua Braun committed in December. The Razorbacks now sit at 84 total scholarships, which leaves one open scholarship remaining for the 2023 roster.

Arkansas added a late piece to its 2023 class on Sunday with the commitment of wide receiver Dazmin James of Clayton (N.C.).

James, 6-2, 185, was originally expected to take the junior college route but added new scholarship offers from North Carolina, Liberty and Arkansas – in addition to track and field offers from South Carolina and NC State – over the last four days. James announced his offer from the Hogs on Friday, and his father confirmed his commitment early Monday morning after tweeting the news Sunday evening.

James recently won state championships in the 100-meter (10.46) and 200-meter (21.06), and reports a blistering forty-yard time of 4.29.

As a senior last fall, James posted 43 receptions for 601 yards and five touchdowns while adding another 307 yards and four scores on 27 rushing attempts.

According to 247Sports, James is a highly-rated three-star athlete with an overall grade of 89, making him a borderline four-star who ranks 59th among all wide receivers and 16th overall in North Carolina’s 2023 class.

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings have James as the No. 72 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 20 overall prospect in his home state.

With the addition of James, Arkansas has now reached its limit of 85 scholarships entering the 2023 season. James gives the Razorbacks a total of nine scholarship wide receivers, with only four in the group owning game experience with the Hogs.

Top247 rank: No. 197 overall, No. 12 TE

Another injured freshman who’s just too good to keep off the list, Hasz leads all first-year tight ends in catches (16), yards (253) and touchdowns (three) despite exiting Arkansas’ Week 5 matchup with Texas A&M early with a potential season-ending injury. Hasz’s 89.8 PFF receiving grade ranks first nationally among all tight ends.

Braxton emerged as a starter in Week 3 and has held up well in SEC play. The former four-star recruit has posted 11 tackles and a team-high five passes defended. Opposing quarterbacks are completing just 38.5% of their passes against Braxton, according to PFF, which is the second-lowest rate in the FBS among all true freshmen cornerbacks. Braxton missed Arkansas’ game last week against Alabama with an injury.
