The difference was Chase didn’t want to play through a global pandemic during a fake season. Could be a trend, but the NILs might actually help keep guys playing going forward.

LSU folks and their “fake season” nonsense. I guess it’s easy to say when your program is a dumpster fire.

Did Chase have a higher risk of getting Covid? No.
Did he have a risk of having a very tough bout of Covid if he caught it as in life risking? No.

Do you call things fake when you just quit and decide not to participate? I really hope you don't IRL but it sounds like maybe you do.
