Tom Osborne has a much better winning percentage, more national championships, and more conference championships in a lesser time frame.

This is just silly. Tom Osborne is one of the greatest coaches in Nebraska history. Bobby Bowden IS Florida State football. He built FSU essentially from scratch into a perineal powerhouse in the running for the National championship every year for decades. Hell FSU was a girls school less than 30 years prior to his arrival. They were the homecoming opponent on other teams schedule. It’s hard to imagine anyone in history doing more for a single sports program than Bobby Bowden did for FSU.

Tom Osborne is unquestionably the greatest coach in Nebraska history. He was the offensive coordinator under Bob Devaney when the Cornhuskers won their first two national championships in '70 and '71.
