For 1935, that went to NYU. In the interest of fairness, UK was awarded it in 1933 and we do not claim it or hang anything mentioning it anywhere. Kansas tries to claim them, because it gives them two additional in an attempt to try to stay neck and neck with Kentucky and North Carolina.

My personal opinion is, as a Kentucky fan we don't give a frick about Helms titles. So NYU can kick rocks. I had no idea LSU had made such a claim.

If you LSU baws want to claim '35 then frick it, have at it boys

Even the LSU grads who run their Wiki page don't claim it. Not recognized by the NCAA and SEC. So yeah, officially worse than Bama's 1941 claim.
