Wish I could talk some crap, but can’t. Hopefully in the near future we can return the favor

The only 3 games that Texas and OU have won of any note in over a decade were against Bama, UF, and UGA in NY6 games after those teams lost the SEC Championship game and didn't care about showing up.

Agree to a certain extent. Bama cared about the Sugar Bowl, but their game plan was to show the QB’s abilities for the NFL, which led to their loss. Auburn cared about Sugar Bowl.

I cannot think of any other program that routinely shits the bed in big games, yet still gets red carpet treatment.

I imagine that was because OU was the only standard bearer for the Big 12. That red carpet treatment may wane now that OU is in a real conference playing real games week in and week out.

That's not Oklahoma's fault. If some NCAA player can't get excited about the Sugar or Cotton Bowl he's gotten some bad advice.

After the initial shock, OU will adjust and recruit accordingly. OU will not become a doormat in the SEC bro.

I don't know about all that. The Joe Burrow LSU team was possibly the best of all time. The Alabama team the year before that was one of their best teams. The Georgia team in the Rose Bowl was probably their best team in decades.

Not making excuses, those were just some damn good teams.

So far we know that OU has competed well against one elite SEC team, Georgia.
Competed badly against two elite SEC teams, one being an all-time great team, the Joe Burrow led LSU.

I think we’re not that far off, to be honest.
If we can get those SEC dline guys, I like our chances.

Also, playing Iowa State doesn’t prepare you to play guys that will make NFL rosters.

OU always looks shocked in the first quarter when playing those SEC elite team.

Just having fun,Bud Trust be LSU has laid some dinosaur eggs. Amusing myself before inventory. Why our HQ has us do inventory in the Deep South in August is beyond me. Warehouse and yard full of PVF. And everyone has to help count.

I’ve always hated this excuse. I’d rather just say we were outplayed than say our guys were so low character that they allowed themselves to get rolled.

Getting outplayed is far less embarrassing.

At least you're honest. Your recruiting will improve because players want SEC experience. Gateway to NFL
