Well….let’s see…

Mid 80s to Mid 90s
Flair was the man in WCW. Hogan was the man in WWF. WWF crushed WCW in popularity. Stars lead this…

Flair came to WWF, Hogan was still the man.

Hogan went to WCW, Hogan became the man, Flair became a mid-carder.

Hogan > Flair, and it ain’t close.

Flair was THE MAN dating back to the mid 70's and Jim Crocket Promotions. I don't know how much you know about the old territory days of wrestling or the crowds they were able to draw, but Flair was the undisputed man. You ask anyone in the wrestling business and they will say, without a doubt, Hogan couldn't hold Flair's jock.

From about 1978-1993ish Flair was the best overall guy in the world. While Hogan was wrestling 150 dates a year in normally 10 minute matches. Flair was wrestling 380-420 times a year in sometimes hour long matches all over the world. He went to Japan twice in one week and still wrestled 2 dates in the USA.
He worked in Charlotte on Sunday afternoon and would fly to Tampa and work Sunday night. He carried every guy in the country every night and on Saturdays would wrestle 5 times on a tv taping and twice and Sunday. While all this was going on he still out worked and out partied and sleep with 1000's of woman.

He is the greatest ever. Period best overall worker and best promo guy.
