I see the GOR and buyout mentioned for Clemson and Florida State often. But the math is there for it to be beneficial to move regardless. ACC paid out $35 million per team, and that would be the penalty each year for 10 years. $350 million. SEC payout expected to be $75 million plus in 2024. If it can be $80 million or more with these 4 new additions, that puts Clemson and Florida State minus the $35 million yearly penalty at a positive gain of $45 million.

They don't only give up $35 mill, they have to give up a $50 million buyout PLUS any new tv money as well. They wouldn't see a profit on tv money until 2036.
