Well honestly, bama is named after a bacterial outgrowth that sucks all the oxygen out of the water when it’s really hot and calm. It results in massive fish kills and stick like a mfer. How did they even come up with that? The elephant is way better

Crimson Tide is so unique though and thoughtful. There were already 50 teams or so with the Tiger name so that was pretty much not an option.
