The pod of A&M/tu/Mizzou/Oklahoma is probably the highest population pod. We matter the most, IMO. It’s 40 million people combined.
The pod of Louisiana/Mississippi/Arkansas is barely 10 million people.
Think about that. 4 times the amount of people. The main pod represents 80% of the western half of the conference. 80%. You think the SEC offices will give one flying frick what LSU ever has to say again? Not a chance. And let’s be honest. That’s good for everyone.

Everyone already watches SEC football in those locations, half of Houston went to LSU/are LSU fans, many in Dallas too. Not to mention, regardless of the team playing, the entire south is the "Population Pod" as for as game day exposure goes.
