permanent cross overs with PODS could work. The POD system that the SEC network has one major issue, Auburn/UGA are in different PODS.

So POD1 (LSU/Aggie/Ole Miss/MIss. State)
POD 2 (OU/Texas/MIZZOU/Arkansas)
POD 3 (Auburn/Bama/TENN/Vandy)
POD 4 (Florida/UGA/UK/SCAR).

That POD structure keeps all the historical SEC games in intact except UGA/Auburn. Bama/Auburn, FLorida/UGA and TENN/Bama. The LSU/Florida game, while not as historical as those other 4 is one of the best games going right now and has eclipsed the Bama/TENN game in terms of relevance

So LSU plays there POD (Aggie/Ole Miss/STate) and lets say plays Florida as permanent from POD4, Arkansas as Permanent from POD2 and lets say Auburn, or Bama, from POD3.

Auburn then would play its POD (TENN/Vandy/Bama). The PODS with Vandy in it are going to have to play more top end teams so Auburn plays UGA as permanent from POD4, Texas from POD2 (if they don't have LSU from POD1) or Arkansas if LSU is from POD1.

Texas A&M then for example would get Texas from POD2 as permanent, they can keep SCAR from POD4 (that is who they play) and maybe TENN or Bama from POD3, etc.
