You play your Pod each year (3 games)
Play your 1 x perm opponent (1 game)
6 conf games remain. Those waterfall on the schedule for remaining 11 opponents. All non-pod/perm opponents play at least twice over 4 yrs; the waterfall pits one matchup 3 times over 4 years. But, it all works out.
