That publication just puts out what the recruiting services say. And Mississippi does not put out as many great NFL players as Florida, Georgia, Texas etc does. Nothing against Mississippi, because of population and other factors.

Here is the statement you took offense to:
Mississippi doesn't put out a ton of great recruits, but the ones they do put out are of very high quality.

Typically in a recruiting thread we talk about recruits, and recruits are gauged by their starts. You can argue all you want about how accurate the ratings are, but the fact remains that the teams that
recruit at or near the top according to the stars are the teams that typically play for the championships.

Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, LSU etc usually are in the mix.
Note I said GREAT players. Does Mississippi put out some great players? Absolutely. Would you like for me to list all of the great NFL players those other states have put out over the years.

Please don't embarrass yourself.
