Again they make money for themselves. They ruined the SWC and now their current conference is falling apart.

Wait, wut?

Uh? Wasn’t your OP that Texas isn’t a national brand?

I was simply pointing out with links (as you requested) that even in the midst of the worst decade of football since the 50s, mired in absolute mediocrity, Texas is still the biggest brand in college football. Texas also just won the Director’s Cup and would bring tons of success, prestige, and titles to other sports.

I guess you could be more wrong about something but you’d really have to work at it.

Do you honestly think they would come into the SEC dictating terms unfavorable to SEC members? Even the most cocksure Horn fan would agree that the SEC holds the upper hand in any conference invite negotiations.
