Sure, and I don't disagree that UT and OU are major draws. They definitely are.

But I do think it's risky to split revenue with two additional programs on the assumption that the increased ad revenue will be enough to be a net benefit to all SEC programs in the long run.

The last round of expansion had the increased SECN revenue as essentially a guaranteed minimum revenue increase. And the extra ad revenue was icing on that cake.

This move would not have that same inherent benefit. Although if you're going to have to make this sort of move, I admit UT and OU are about the best candidates you could ask for.

I would assume any move like this would run concurrently with negotiations with the networks. I'm sure that happened when Missouri and A&M were added as well. The SEC isn't going to add schools without having those deals in place prior.
