For the record, Alabama offense is responsible for nearly that entire disparity. Literally. Now back to wiping that game from my memory banks.

Kentucky gave up 285 points in 11 games (25.9 points per game).
Alabama scored 63, leaving 222 points in 10 games (22.2 points per game).
That's only about half of that disparity (3.7 of 6.5 points per game).
