I am simply telling you Bo is the only house hold name. Plenty of mediocre running backs make the nfl.

A Coach that couldnt see that really pissed his pants.

I suppose he is to people who are too young or don't have a clue about SEC Football history.

No mediocre running backs make the NFL. If you make it to the NFL, you are the best of the best.

FIFY.

Clearly this conversation isn't going anywhere, so I'm out. Keep being a troll. I'll find somebody who can have a reasonable conversation without being a douche canoe.

As an objective outsider, I can say that Lionel "Little Train" James was a known back when he played at Auburn. Different style of player, a lot like Darren Sproles, or more recently Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Teams had a different philosophy on offense back then; UGA relied on Herschel constantly. Auburn, like LSU (with Hilliard and James), took advantage of the fact that they had multiple backs who could make plays. This hurt Bo's individual totals, but helped the team.

Looking back at LSU, Dalton Hilliard had 4000 yds rushing for his career (5100 yds from scrimmage), Garry James had 2200 rushing yds (3200 yds from scrimmage). They played all 4 yrs together. If either played alone, their numbers would be higher. Hilliard would be a legend today, James would at least be remembered.
