If you look at BYU and Alabama NIL rules, and then compare to other schools.. some are flexible, some are strict. This is a situation where a top player can transfer because their current school has so many restrictions but Alabama may offer better NIL.

Alabama under Saban and the athletic leadership will make it sure each athlete is giving the greatest opportunity. They may not be able to oversee the NIL per se but they can provide guidance which will help to direct them to make the best decision.
