People always say that but I don’t think it’s that important. Sure it helps but Drink just landed our best recruiting class in program history during a 6-7 season

But I think these top recruits will want to see some progression this year. McVay also said he wants to fight for championships. At bama that's a given, if mizzou can show progress to getting towards that, he may reconsider and stay home.

I guess being a new HC and the COVID-19 is just a cover. That is why Drinkwitz need to show improvement this year or else 4* and 5* recruits will go leswhere. Yes, he will land some of them, but more would come if Drinkwitz gets his team to show improvements and wins more than 6 or 7 games a year. Some of you think recruits are not interesting in seeing a much-improved team than just win 1 more game this year would be good enough. That is not how many top recruits see it.
