I agree with him.
4 teams is perfect to me. I would just use the old BCS formulas to determine the 4 teams and not a committee.
12 is way too many... they'll ruin the regular season. Might as well go to a 10 game regular season and eliminate the conference championship games if you go to 12.

No, the 2 team BCS was perfect. Kept the regular season and all bowl games meaningful. With 4 teams and not automatic bids/regulations that you have to win your conference, bowls have become meaningless and the regular season has been watered down a lot.
This 12 team will also water it down significantly, but this will at least give the pac-12 and the rest of the country something to care about in terms of CFB

The longer we go down this never-ending road, I'm really beginning to think this would be a great idea.
Even pushing it to six or eight, but with the BCS.
The immediate problem would be other conferences wanting "participation," which is how we've gotten to this current point.
