Having zero to get excited about for a long time sure helps, even our basketball team shits the bed in big moments.
Additionally, people have been talking shite on Tennessee year in and year out forever, like poking an animal in a cage. So naturally when the cage opens it gets ugly. You saw the same thing in 2019 with LSU. People trolled LSU so much after the 2011 natty, in 2019 they took this board over and everyone had to sit there and take it.
As for real life outside of this board I think the Tennessee fans took a lot of shite personally. They heard all year that LSU was gonna take their coach, called classless and nasty by Paul and even implied they were racist. Obviously they didn’t take kindly to that and it showed this weekend. Paul’s apology just fanned the flames. There’s stupid people on both sides, I don’t agree with booing Paul but it is what it is.
