Saban at 40% is still probably better than every other coach in football minus Dabo

I think he would bow out instead of set the program back like Mac Brown and Paterno did Texas and Penn State. He seems like the kind of coach that would hand pick his successor and still be involved at some capacity after retiring. I don’t think Bama will be as dominant after he leaves, but they dang sure won’t drop to the bottom of the conference either.

Should be easy to beat him this year then, right?

Definitely, but he will be coasting to at least 4 more national championships over the next decade.

If that man is on the sidelines, he and his team will be very difficult to beat.

I still laugh over a few prominent sports writers writing Saban off after the loss at home to Ole Miss in 2015.

I don’t think Bama will have this kind of run post-Saban. It’s been lightening in a bottle. I do think Bama can win some SEC titles and compete for national titles for 4-5 years post Saban. But the total domination will not be there.

I am glad ole Hugh got caught night putting on a closed course. Hell Ole Miss had us covered in 2016 as well but Jalen Hurts carried that team to a big win.
