restaurant / hotel recommendations for Sevierville, TN?

Have never stopped in Sevierville, but may be doing so in a few weeks. Recommendations for restaurants and hotels? All suggestions welcome. And apologies if I should be asking this question in the Lounge instead; still new to the board, and finding my way around. Thanks in advance.

I've driven through Sevierville many times, but have never stopped there except the one time I was involved in an auto accident.

Depends on what you are looking for.
For food, my recommendation is the Apple Barn. Countrys style cooking, and they have a gift shop. We eat there multiple times when we got to the smokies.
