I think what south carolina needs is a young energetic up and coming coach who is not afraid to work his arse off to build a program. Nick Saban when he came to LSU would have been a perfect fit. The problem with spurrier is he thought he could still rely on his X's and O's to get it done...he just doesn't have the talent he did at florida and the defenses have caught up to his offensive scheming. They need a hell of a recruiter who knows how to hire good coordinators.

Agree. South Carolina needs the stop hiring the retreads, and go for a young up and coming coach, if possible, a minority. The real ironic part is Skip Holtz probably can get a better and easier job than South Carolina these days.
