Competitors don't get led to the brink of tears due to getting getting manhandled by a South Carolina CB in press coverage and then quit on their team. I think you're mistaking how much he enjoyed winning battles to being a competitor. Competitors, to me, hate losing and bring it every damn down.

I don’t think it’s worthwhile to get bogged down in the competitor label that I introduced to the thread. It wasn’t really my point

I think the things you’ve identified are built into his draft grade being somewhere around the 3-4 round.

I actually thought being brought to tears was a sign that he was competitor. The quitting afterwards wasn’t. He probably stayed frustrated with Gus and Nix though so It’s yet to be determined how a fresh start will refocus his workmanship.
