He survived the losing seasons is because he had good graces with Frank Broyles. His mouth made him survive longer than he should have. He isn't called a used car salesman for nothing. The others such as Holtz, Hatfield and Petrino didn't suck up and when they were in trouble, didn't get any second chances.

The reason they had losing seasons in 04 and 05 is not of the so called NCAA cloud but Nutt had such a massive failure in the 2000 recruiting class filled with academic risks and recruits that were in trouble with the law. That doesn't take in account of the no shows on campus. Nutt in a panic had to pull off redshirts on quite a bit of players such as Matt Jones. Nutt and his roster management has always been terrible. Nutt is responsible for the signing class limit in the SEC.

No one gives a shite a bout the Nutt. It was bad enough that he went 18-16 with one of the best RB rotations in SEC history and didn't even win the conference, it is even worse he was such a drama queen. We could have hired any coach that would do the same results but without such a narcissist personality. Nutt had long worn out his welcome here.

Nutt wasn't qualified for the job. But his mouth got him the job over Tuberville. Nutt is a good liar and so that where his strength resides.

I read the book. Mustain made a comment as a joke a bout Nutt and I called that play speech in the Ole Miss game. He laughed and said what a dork. That comment was taken out of context by the Arkansas media as an insult to Nutt. Mustain apologized for the misunderstanding and Nutt said it wasn't a big deal. But Nutt is such a thin skinned individual that he never got over it. It was Nutt's job to keep the team together which he failed to do after the 2006 season. Damian Williams transferred as saying that strange events were happening on the team.

Mustain wanted to redshirt as he said he wasn't ready but Nutt refused as his shitty QB development continued on. He got bullied because Nutt spread rumors to other members of the team. Mustain NEVER claimed he was the savior of anything. Nutt never tried to control any situation because he doesn't know how. He created a toxic environment.

Mustain never should have came here. Nutt is a terrible QB developer and OC. Mustain should have thought with his head and not his heart. Nutt is a liar and a narcissist, he only hurts and not help.

Nutt did NOTHING here that was amazing. If so then he wouldn't have gotten fired at Arkansas and Ole Miss. Both schools that suffered after his departure.

Lack of institutional control isn't silly. It might not be like Miami in the 80s and 90s but Nutt lost control in the last two years. They covered it up for Nutt because the impeding embarrassment if more skeletons came out of the closet.

If Mustain is such a pussy then Nutt must be as well. He bragged a bout getting a scholarship from Bear Bryant but couldn't hack it under Lou Holtz and transferred to Oklahoma State. Nutt is leading by example.
