LSU answer would have to be Ryan Perrilloux.
Love the guy and he actually did OK in a system not designed for him, but Tyler Russell would be mine for State. It is unfair considering the hype and system he inherited, but after slaying South Panola he was the savior to save State. Dude would've killed it at LSU, Bama, UGA.
Also to be fair on him, we were not used to hyped QBs before him.

For my team, it has to be Blake Barnett or Phillip Sims if you're basing it on recruiting rankings. For guys that actually played, probably Tyler Watts. Tough guy, fit Fran's offense...but not a passer. Kinda similar to Hurts, but without having the elite talent around him.
Ryan Perrilloux and Mitch Mustain though...those two names had massive hype with very little results.
