As the esteemed Gordon Gecko once said, a fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place. They'll have zero chance of winning a lawsuit if the students knowingly violated university policy.

A policy that is knowingly violated by the rest of the campus ? I think they have a good chance based on those facts. The University cancelled Spring Break, but gave students "wellness days". They ignore the fact that AU is a little over 3 hours drive to the beach where 100K of Spring Breakers are partying every weekend.

The rest of campus??? The rest of campus isn't part of a student extracurricular organization under university sponsorship. The university didn't tell 30,000 students they couldn't go to the beach. They did tell organizations they couldn't compete as a sponsored organization in certain events.

Like it or not, they have zero chance of winning that suit.
