This season is a throw-a-way year. 6-6, 7-5 is my expectation.

Gus went to a Natty in his first season, that had a lot to do with Chiz winning a Natty a few years previous. The cupboard wasn't bare when Gus took over.

I'm not saying that Gus left us in complete peril, but he left the program in worse shape than he found it.

I believe in Bryan Harsin and I think that he will have us competing for SEC/Natty titles eventually. It, unfortunately, won't be this year though. He needs a year or two to build Auburn into a legitimate program again.

Someone needs to do a statistical comparison with which coach had a better roster year one- Harsin or Malzahn. Didn’t Chizik have some really shitty recruiting classes his last couple of years? Aside from last year which wasn’t a complete disaster Gus had top ten classes. This team is pretty good with a major weakness at O line which hopefully we can fix a bit with the transfer market.

I distinctly remember sitting at the beach with my two bro in laws (big Uga fans) two months before 2013 season, and them laughing there arse off when I said AU would probably go 7-5. I remember it vividly bc they kept bringing it up all trip and laughing at me like I was crazy. 6 months later I was laughing my arse off at them.

To the issue at hand, I think we are more talented roster now, but the talent holes in the trenches is going to kill us this year. Still think 7-5 is our floor though
