Alabama - 11 (1991, 1992, 1994, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020)
Florida - 5 (1995, 1996, 2006, 2008, 2009)
Auburn - 3 (1993, 2004, 2010)
LSU - 3 (2003, 2011, 2019)
Texas A&M - 3 (1992, 1994, 2020)*
Tennessee - 2 (1995, 1998)
Georgia - 1 (2002)

*Texas A&M played in the SWC from 1915-1996 and the Big 12 from 1996-2011

So we have 3 since 1990 WITHOUT Saban. Same as LSU.

It's almost like the institution DOES matter! Especially when you are a blue blood!
