UGA is certainly better than they were under Richt, but they still have a major similarity. Every great team under Kirby and Richt have had at least 1 position group that was average. And it’s cost them a title every year. Under Richt it was primarily the offensive and defensive linemen. Kirby has done a great job addressing that. However, in each of Kirby’s first 4 seasons there’s been a weak position group. And in 2021 it will be the secondary.

In the world of the 85 scholarship limit, every team will have some weakness. There were complaints about Bamas defense last year in the first couple of weeks and the same about LSU the year before. Nobody is perfect but can your strengths cover your weakness?

That's a fair criticism. I do think we'll address at least one if not two DB positions via the portal by fall, and our D-line should mask some of the inexperience in the secondary (not all of it though).
