If Tenner had anything "real" on Pruitt they would have held a parade to announce it. Tennessee doesn't have any direct evidence Pruitt did anything, suggested or orchestrated anything, or was aware anyone on his staff was doing anything wrong.
Mark this thread. When this case goes to court Pruitt wins via settlement or he wins by verdict.

Why? Why announce it? What would Tennessee gain? Better to allow the process play out, cooperate fully, mitigate the penalty phase. Besides the part that “involves” Pruitt is a failure to properly oversee his staff. No one credible and certainly no one with the university has accused Pruitt of direct participation in violations.
